Data Deletion Instructions
Beacon Automator (“the App”), operated by Beacon Software (“Beacon”), is an internal tool used to create, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) on behalf of Beacon’s portfolio companies.
If you have connected a Meta account to the App and would like the data associated with that connection deleted, follow the steps below.
Email us to request deletion
Send an email to legal@beaconsoftware.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
To help us locate and remove the correct records, please include:
- The name and email associated with your Meta login.
- The Meta Business Manager, ad account, or Page that was connected to the App, if known.
Email is the only channel required. You do not need to fill out any form or create an account to make a request.
What happens next
Once we receive your request, we will delete the personal and advertising data the App holds in connection with your Meta account within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete.
Revoke the App’s access
You can also cut off the App’s access to your Meta account at any time, independent of a deletion request:
- In Meta Business Settings → connected apps, or
- In your Facebook settings → Settings → Apps and Websites.
Revoking access stops the App from acting on your account going forward. To also remove data we already hold, email us using the steps above.
